Abstract:
In solid-state chemistry, high-pressure crystallography (HPC) has become an essential method, especially for the investigation of inorganic coordination complexes. Properties like catalytic efficiency and magnetic behavior are impacted by polymorphism in these compounds. This systematic review summarizes recent developments, experimental methods, and the consequences of pressure-induced structural changes while assessing the contribution of HPC to the discovery and characterization of polymorphs.
