Abstract:
One of the most popular drugs for autoimmune and inflammatory conditions is corticosteroids. They are quite successful in treating a variety of illnesses because of their capacity to inhibit immunological responses. But there are still serious worries about their abuse, inappropriate self-medication, and possible negative effects.
Object of this study is to evaluate the patterns of corticosteroid use, assess public awareness regarding their risks and side effects, and analyze the factors influencing their consumption, particularly in self-medication and non-medical applications.
This study included individuals from various age groups, with a particular focus on those aged 18 to 24 years, as this demographic has been reported to exhibit higher rates of corticosteroid use. To ensure diversity and representation, participants were selected from both urban and rural areas. The participants were from both gender female and male
